Terms & Conditions

You must read and agree with our terms and conditions before buying online. When buying goods from our website you enter an agreement with Curtainwise Scotland Ltd, Unit 1A, Glaisnock Glen, Penders Wynd, Cumnock, KA18 3BP trading as curtains2blinds.com. The Agreement will be concluded when you place the order.

Prices

The Prices payable for the items that you order are clearly set out in the website, all prices are expressed inclusive of any VAT payable unless otherwise stated.

Availability

If for any reason beyond our control, we are unable to supply a particular item we will notify you as soon as possible.

Our Products

All products we sell are made according to your sizes. Please understand that it is your own responsibility to take the correct measurements of the areas of the items you wish to order. We cannot accept returns and give refunds if you have given us the wrong measurements. We will not be able to re-sell those products and therefore we will not be able to refund the money.

Sample Requests

Although we do our best to represent the colour and texture of our products as accurately as possible, computer monitors and printers vary significantly. Because most of our products are custom made, we cannot accept responsibility for items which do not match your décor exactly. If an exact colour match is required , then please request a sample before placing your order as we can only accept returns in cases where we have supplied incorrectly.

Orders

All inquiries regarding placed orders must be done via our contact page, because we outsource products from all over the UK and Europe we are not able to offer support by telephone as we will need to contact our suppliers first. 1-2 business days are required to respond to enquiries. Please double check the confirmation e-mail which we will send to make sure that you have given us the correct sizes for all products you have ordered.

Payment Options

Since most products from curtains2blinds.com are custom made to your specifications, all orders are paid for when your order is placed. We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Solo. Payment must be cleared before we begin production on your order. Your payment card details will be encrypted to minimize the possibility of unauthorized access or disclosure. Authority for payment must be given at the time of order.

Delivery

All our items include standard delivery, therefore delivery will show as free. However in some cases we may charge an extra delivery charge to certain areas in Scotland, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland Channel islands and Europe. If this applies we will notify you as soon as possible. You have the right to cancel the order if the extra delivery charge is not acceptable.

Please note that we aim to dispatch your item(s) as soon as your payment reaches our bank account. However in some cases this may not be possible as we may be waiting on stock arriving and therefore we would ask if you would allow 7 to 10 working days for your order to reach you. Most of our Blinds are made to measure and we would need time to manufacture them and deliver them and so would ask for your patience. The specified delivery terms do not apply during busy times of the year e.g Bank Holidays and Christmas.

Re-Delivery

 In the case the carrier has tried to deliver to you and the carrier has left a card or a message on the phone and you have not contacted the carrier in order to arrange a convenient time for re-delivery and the goods have returned to us, we will apply an additional delivery charge of £8-£10 for re-delivery.

Cancellations / Returns Policy

According to The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, made to measure goods blinds, curtains, shades, awnings or shutters are excluded from this legislation and the 7 day cancellation rights do not apply. Cancellations are still possible as long as these products or parts of them have not been made. Other products which are not made to measure can be returned at the customer own expense and we request these products to be returned within 7 days. Any returns must have a returns number obtained from us beforehand and written on all boxes.

Installation instructions and the pictures “How to Install” page should be used for the sole purpose of understanding how a blind works and the manner in which it should be properly installed as the operation system and various ftting parts may vary from one manufacturer to another and the instructions provided together with the products upon delivery should be used to set them up. This will not affect the operation of the blind in any way. Should you have any technical questions or need special blinds parts, always contact us before placing an order.

Privacy Policy

The information that we request and gather from you will be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1988. We collect information about you for 2 reasons, the first to process your order and the second to provide you with the best possible service. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent to do so. We will never pass your details to a third party and we will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us in the future.

The information we will collect about you includes:

  • Credit / Debit Card Details ( This Information is only used to process your order and is not stored on any computer system )

The information we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the Data Protection Act 1998.
